Children learn best about their physical world when they are able to manipulate it – both in creating new elements and taking existing things to pieces to see how they work. It is through these two seemingly opposite processes that children can develop and test their working theories of how the world is put together. Join ECE teacher and playscape builder Robin Christie for a hands-on day building with wooden pallets and deconstructing common everyday objects. Please wear old clothes and closed-toe shoes. Course costs include resources and lunch.
